FAQ
"Excellent service!"
P. Hall - Ontario |
Q1. What makes PolicePrep different from other
test preparation services?
Police Prep offers customized police training for the application
process of the police force you are applying to. Our comprehensive
offering will give you the edge you need in the highly competitive
police selection process.
Q2. How long do I have access to this site?
That depends on which product you purchase. With
the full access purchase, you get unlimited access to our police training
material for a period of 1 year. If you purchase the B-PAD / Interview
Product only, you get access to those components for 1 month.
Q3. Are there any hidden costs or recurring fees
upon registration?
NO. There will be no further charges other than
the one time purchase our PolicePrep's police training program.
"I really appreciate all the
help I am getting and the
updates to your program. Thank you."

Q4. Does Police Prep provide anything other than
practice tests?
YES. Police Prep offers assistance on the physical
testing component, the interview process, building your resume
and the psychological evaluation process if you purchase the full
access version.
Q5. Can I contact anyone if I have specific questions
not covered by the site or something I am confused about?
YES. We are here to do anything we can to get you
hired as a Police Officer. If you have a question you can email (info@policeprep.com)
or phone us at (416) 763-9047, and we will attempt to answer your
questions.
Q6. Are your products worth the price?
YES. We have actual police services recommending
our product to their applicants because they believe in the product.
Our full package students are so well prepared for the exams that
we offer a money back guarantee if they are unsuccessful with
an exam. You can pay similar prices for a one day course some
places but they do not offer a money back guarantee, their service
is only delivered on one day, while you can use our 24 hours a
day, 365 days a year and finally we offer a wider variety of practice
exams, teaching material and preparation material.
"The most complete information
to give you the best chance of being hired. I am now 40
and once again trying to pursue my dream. I only wish
this was available 20 years ago."

Q7. Should I purchase the book or the full
package?
A lot of the customers who purchase the book, end
up purchasing the full access package as well. The book is a good
product for someone who feels very confident walking into the
exam, but may want a very realistic practice test. The website
contains far more tests (including B-PAD exercises) and preparation
material than the books do.
Q8. Police forces have timed tests. Do you have
timers on your tests?
YES. It is important to get used to time pressure
when practicing for these exams. Our tests have interactive timers
that will prevent you from continuing after the allocated time
has expired, just as test administrators will stop you during
the actual testing.
Q9. I only have a month to prepare for the test.
Will this website be much use to me?
YES. The site content was designed to allow individual
users to work at their own pace and is well suited for someone
who has about a month to prepare. One method would be to do a
complete a practice test every other day. This will give you 5 complete
practice simulations and hours of practice prior to writing. On
top of this there is guidance with:
- Behavioral Testing (B-Pad assistance)
- Interviewing
- Fitness Preparation
- Psychological exams
"This site has it all!!. I am
now feeling better about my upcoming test. I need to prepare
and I need the tools to prepare and this site gives me
all that... Thanks for giving me a very useful tool that
I can work on any time day or night - no class schedules."
J. Brenner - Alberta |
Q10. Do you have a teaching component on the Written Communication
Test for the Ontario and Alberta exams?
YES. We have 10 practice exercises for the Written
Communication Test. You have an hour to complete these tests.
Upon completion you can view sample answers and point form notes
of the relevant information that should be included in the report.
Q11. I heard that Police Services across Ontario
will no longer be using the GATB. Is this true?
That is true. Most police services across Ontario
have switched to using the PATI exam, which we now offer on our
site.
Q12. Are the American tests based on American
math standards, or are metric measurement units used?
The math questions are based on the imperial measurement
system if you purchase an American product, and the metric system
if you purchase a Canadian Product. The American tests were built
specifically for the designated area..
"I checked my answers online and out of 85 questions,
I got 5 wrong. Everything that was supplied on Policeprep.com
was I needed to study to pass the test. This was the second
time I took the test and I was well prepared this time,
last time I studied from a book. I honestly felt that
the book was a waste of time and money."
