Answer the following questions based on what is stated or implied in the preceding passage.

Police officers are often exposed to communicable diseases due to the people that they encounter on the job. Below is a list of precautions that should be followed when dealing with a prisoner who is infected with Lice.

1) Avoid prolonged contact with the infested person, if possible wear disposable gloves
2) If the above is not possible and infestation is evident, change clothing as soon as possible
3) Launder or dry clean the clothing to destroy lice and their eggs
4) If infected seek immediate medical help and take precautions to prevent spread to others
5) Submit an Injured on Duty Report (IOD)

If you find you are infected which steps would you take first?

Avoid as much contact as possible with the suspect, wear disposable gloves, change your clothes, wash your clothes, seek meidcal treatment, and fill out a IOD report

Seek immediate medical assistance, try to prevent the spread to other persons

Submit an IOD report, inform your supervisor that you are going to the hospital for medical treatment
