Toronto: anyone getting calls for an interview

I applied about 2 months ago and have heard nothing.

I applied Feb 3rd and also have a 649 form in for me. Nothing yet here either. I called last week and talked to a recruiter. He said they look at the applications, group them, then hit a certain set group first (never said what the criteria was) Once they do those they will get to the others. He just said be patient.

I applied the last week of April and had my interview last week. It all went well and wating to hear from BGI.

what about re-applying with an updated resume? do they look at people from the GTA first

I dont know who they look at first. Iam not in the city myself. I think you can update your file at any time. If your file gets closed without an interview, you have to wate one year then reapply.

I'm in the same boat. I guess we just have to be patient. I had my LFI with York on March 27 and they said that I passed but to just be patient for the ECI. It's hard to resist the temptation to call every couple weeks. I guess the best thing is to just stay positive and hope to not see a letter in the mailbox.

I know they've begun giving out job offers to people for next class. Believe their target is around 144 for September.

I just got a call today(Thursday 25) to go for my interview next Thursday(June 1). They said to prepare for a 4 hour interview and bring some water. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.

When I was called, they said prepare for a 4 hour day, not a four hour interview, and I too brought some water. You will need it - my advice is also bring a snack - such as a granola bar, or something you can eat quickly!
