Just wondering if anyone on these boards has heard from Saskatoon for the final phase of their process the panel interview? I've had my psych interview and my polygraph, but haven't heard about the panel interview. I'm hoping they do it soon, should I be asked to continue in the process, however with the next class starting on Aug 14 I just wondering what's taking so long. Anyone in the process with Saskatoon?

I began the process in May with the SIGMA and POPAT. I passed both and am currently waiting for an interview. When did you write SIGMA? How was the initial interview process?

I wrote the SIGMA and physical in March 2006, since I was coming from out of province they made speacial arrangements with me and had me do everything that week assuming I passed each step of the way. So the first day I wrote the SIGMA, passed and then wrote the psych. The next day I day my first interview with the recruiting department, lasted about 2 hours. I passed that and went on to the polygraph the following day. 3 1/2 hours later the examiner told me he was satisfied with the test and said I passed. The forth day I did the POPAT test and passed that as well, then it was to the psych doctor to talk with me for a hour to make sure I was stable. It was left that I would move on to the background which they did in May. I heard on June 6 that they wanted me to come out for the panel interview to be held june 21 -june 28.
I have heard they are looking to hire a minimum of 14 but are hoping to get 18 if there are enough qualified candidates. I accept them to interview about 25-30 for the panel interview, so the chances are good that you may get on it you make it to the panel interview.
Saskatoon is now trying to test as many people as possible to build up a future list of candidates as I noticed they are running the SIGMA and POPAT weekly now.

So how did the interview go? Was it what expected? Did they ask a lot of behavioural based questions, or was it more a get to know you kind of thing. Any tips to provide? I have mine on Tuesday June 27 and am nervous as hell.
Hiring 12 and only interviewing 20, did a recruiter tell you this? When I became the process with them I spefically ask them how many they were hoping to hire and they said 14 but 18 if they get enough qualified canditates. Just wondering where you heard your figures from.
Well it's all over for you now, good luck, and hopefully an offer will come within the next month or so.
