View Full Version : Shuttle Run....HELP!
11-17-2004, 02:23 PM
I'm doing my testing in two weeks, and am still having a bit of trouble with the shuttle run...
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on preparing for it... Also, wondering if there is any way to download the beep test...
Let me know if anyone has any good ideas!!
You're probably better off not doing the PREP in two weeks. If you're having trouble with the Shuttle now, it'll be even more difficult after you've completed the pursuit/restraint.

Someone on this site once gave this website : http://www.defence.gov.au/army/1_19RNSWR/fitness.htm
And i find it really helps. I went to the practice test and found that this beep test is a little different than the actual one, for example, the beep test on the website starts at level 1 and also tells you what level you are on, where as the real test starts at 0, and only states when you are at say 3 or 3 1/2. They dont tell you each level. Other than that it is really helpful, at least to me. When are you taking the tests? I am taking my tests on Dec 5. What are you doing to practice for the written tests?
THE SHUTTLE RUN, THE LENGTH OF IT IS 7:30 FROM START TO FINISH, SO ITS NOT 11 MIN AS OTHERS HAVE MENTIONED IT TO BE, I DID MINE TODAY WITH ATS AND PASSED...GOOD LUCK
