Hey guys just thought that i would let you all know that i did my stage 1 of the ATS testing this past weekend so i thought that i would share a few things for those who are preparing to write....
First thing..For the PATI i found that I was really pressed for time which was werid b/c doing the practice tests on PolicePrep i always had about 20 mins to review...I found that i spent too much time on the math and problem solving sections...The other three sections were very similar too the practice tests on this website. I had enough time to finish the test and i reviewed for about 5 mins.
The WCT was alot longer than the ones on here but i found that it did prepare you alright for the actual test. Make sure you read the situation carefully b/c it is easy to miss the little important details. Again you have to WATCH YOUR TIME!!! They allowed us about 3-5 mins in between the PATI and WCT so you can just imagine how mentally draning the first half is.
And than the physical....this was the easiest stage throughout the day!! they give you a chance to warm up with the equipment and than they run you threw the test 1 at a time with everyone watching, (little weird if your not used to being on display) give you your time and than you head to the beep test...which if you can run for like 6 mins you'll be fine!!!
So far all i know is that i passed my physical soim now waiting for the results from the writting tests. I just thought that i would give those who are going to write a little heads up about the whole process!!!
Any questions just ask and i'll do my best to answer them!!!
