Hi all, I recently received the bad news that I failed the WCT for the second time, and for the same reason. The letter sates that I was not able to demonstrate the conclusion component of the WCT. I was shocked and disappointed to say the least. I have waited over six months to write, juggling my life to study for these exams and all they tell me is this sh-t.
I am not going to reveal anthing, but I am familiar with this exam and the conclusions. Is there anyway I can receive a second opinion on the exam? If I want to write with OPP, do I still have to wait the six months?

yes,you still have to wait for another 6 months to rewrite it for sure.,don't give up,keep your chin up,it's very normal to fail several times either in PATI or WCT.

I appreciate your frustration at failing the WCT. I have just failed it myself. I am an ex serving Police Officer from the UK. I have done the job, filled in accident reports etc. The WCT is barely relevant. You never get such an ambiguous situation. You attend the scene, talk to witnesses and survey etc. Quite honestly I think the WCT is an awful test and very subjective. You could easily swing a number of ways on the conclusion. This test should be replaced as it has no point. I have worked alongside many different types of people in the police and can say that the best of them would have failed this WCT. When your backs against the wall its often the bookworm who is nigh on useless. Also after the test there were a few guys who were laughing. I enquired. One guy said we studied this exact scenario at high school. Uhmm! Well there's a fair test. Also the conclusion could easily be read a few ways and not the answer they want. This test is not objective and tests what exactly?? Even if I passed I would have still thought the same.

I have had thoughts of giving up, but then I shake it off and think of things repeatedly. It is clear to me that I will never give up until I get on. This is truly, what I want to do for the next 30years. It is just so frustrating, when you try so hard and you believe you have answered the scenario correctly. I feel that the marking process is flawed, and there should be a non-ATS auditor along for the marking of this life-changing test. I am trying to attain some answers from them, but so far I have been missing their calls. Does anyone know how many people actually are there when these tests are being marked? Is the OPP test any different? I do not want to take the WCT with ATS again because my answer will remain the same. I know some of you will be thinking, well then it must be your answer. This my second time taking the test, I know the conclusion man. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks for the support, peace, Blue Bear.

Careful....you might know the conclucion to that secenario.....however by the time you go to redo the test they might be switching the WCT.....it is rumor that they are switching it up and that there might be more then one in circulation and it is by luck which one you get...therefore you will not possibly get the same one twice....
I spoke with someone at ATS and this is what they said. OPP confirmed that it will be changing as well.
Thankfully I passed it the first time........ :) But just work on y our writing skills and go with the examples on here and you should be good to go.
