VPD is currently looking to hire Jail Guards for its May training class. Guards are sworn Municipal Special Constables, work 12 hour shifts, for about $20/hr to start (the VPD webpage is out of date). I know they are looking for part-time folks, but they may be willing to hire full-time if that is what you are after. See the VPD webpage for more details.
