Hi.

Off course it is LFI. It is the first interview with most police services.

By the way how long did it take for the interview call after you were asked to go to do those paperwork's?

What is the difference between the two interviews?

The difference between the two interviews is that the LFI is an interview that generally larger forces use to help them screen potential candidates. Its an interview designed to test your knowledge about the force to which your applying too. They ask questions regarding the size, population at which they police, structural design of the force, whos the chief, what units they offer, things like that. They want to see that you have done your homework on their force. The ECI is the essential Competencies Interview. This is where the candidate must illustrate, through situational based answers, that they posses the qualification the force is looking for. Some include, Communication skills, Flexibility, Self-confident, analyical thinking and so on. This interview can take anywhere from 2-4 hrs depending on the force.
