Durham April 2nd

Anyone here writing the test in Durham on April 2nd?? I registered for the PATI and WCT today so now I have to start cracking on those syllogisms and WCT scenarios.
Any help for the WCT would be appreciated!!

so how do u think u did on the pati? did u find it difficult or easirer than this site?

It went pretty well as Michael mentioned. The mapping was a little tricky but very doable, math was pretty much the same as the Police Prep site. The syllogism section did cause me some problems as 3-4 were straightforward but the rest were just... well...bizarre, to me anyways.
The facial recognition did cause a little problem as some of them had all 4 faces with something different. I went with what stood out the most... in other words I guesed!!
Overall as Michael said, if you are scoring 80-90% on Police Prep you'll have no problems with the PATI test. Lots of time and balanced questions. I'm confident I passed this one.

For the WCT, don't bother writing on the scrap paper they give you...Just write everything on the fact sheet and go from there. The time really does go by quickly and I didn't really get to finish my conclusion.
not so confident on passing this one. I beleive I had enough facts on paper but the lack of a finished conclusion might hurt me.
Eh if I have to wait 6 months it'll give me a chance to improve my fitness anyways... I need it!!

BTW for the first timers writing the exams I highly suggest doing them all on the same day or consecutive days. I won't get my written results until May as I won't be doing the PREP until May 7th ... Don't agree with that rule but ATS is the only game in town so I have to bite the bullet and wait... Not happy with that but it's not like they care... :roll:

Overall if your prepared you won't do to badly. Thanks to SimonB as his review helped immensely. I still dislike syllogisms!!

What score is required to pass the PATI?

Has been posted on this forum word for word.

Someone posted it, I did it in March/05 & that was exactly it

some say that is not it, but i've been told by TPS it has not changed and its the same senario, maye they might swith the cars aroounf from a honda to a Jetta etc.
