Shuttle Run

What would everyone's opinion be on the approximate time one would need to be running a mile and a half to pass the shuttle run? I understand the shuttle run is not a mile and a half run but I have read on this forum it is like running a mile and a half.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am doing the shuttle August 23rd in Thornhill, and now that we are hitting the home stretch, the nerves are kicking in. Thanks guys!

Shuttle runs takes approx. six-seven minutes to complete level 6.5 - not sure what that would equate/compare to running a mile and half!

You want to get your timing of the beeps - timed so when you reach either end of the twenty metre marked length it BEEPS, or somewhere near.

It takes alot of energy for both starting and stopping, SO why don't you mark off twenty metres and practice going back and forth for seven minutes. Try being faster through the middle and slower when reaching BOTH ends to save energy starting and stopping.

FYI I would NOT use that Audio File as it is the wrong one. If your going to use one besure to use the actual one.

The one you want is a man with now accent and he counts down from 5 seconds. That one is the correct one.

hehe wouldn't it be nice if they didn't do the "shuttle run" anymore just the persuit course? i mean i would be the first one to pass on the prep test hehehe..... i would even sing while doing it...lol
