View Full Version : Why all the Trouble?

I have been reading these forums for awhile now. The threads about the WCT confuse me a bit so was hoping those of you have have taken the WCT (passed or failed) could clear up a few things for me.
It seems a lot of people on here have failed their WCT the first, sometimes second even third time around. I really don't understand what could be so difficult about this test to elicit such a response.
I have been practicing the scenarios here on Police prep and find them extremely easy. My fact sheet and final write ups are almost identical to the answer for each of the given problems. I don't mean to sound arrogant or anything but I have been studying and this is where I am at.
1. So how much more confusing, difficult, longer etc... is the real WCT compared to those here on Policeprep?
2. Why are people failing multiple times when there are so many practice examples here on Policeprep?
3. What seems to be the biggest issue?
I am pretty confident in my abilities and not to worried about the tests at all, which I will be taking this Saturday, just really curious and wondering if I am missing something here.
Thank You

I am not sure you're going to get much help getting answers when you start you question off by cutting up those of us who had to write it 2 times. I was extremely confident while doing the practices and after writing the first time I though I rocked it but hey I missed it. But good luck anyways maybe someone else will help you out.

You doing it Thornhill? Im doing it there too
I think your going to get varied responses on why people dont pass wct 1st or 2nd time
It could be any number of things that they do... as your not just marked on the conclusion but on a number of factors, miss one of those factors and you could be back writing it again.

Hi kevinjscott79 your right. I just re-read my message and it does sound that way doesn't it. That was not the intention. What I was trying to get across (poorly I admit) was a sense that maybe I am missing something. I am confident but maybe it is misplaced. Maybe I am confident because I am not fully informed (which I thought I was but....).
So sorry about that mate and to any others. Why do you think you did not get it the first time? You were confident as well so what happened? I appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks
