I failed my BPAD and waiting to redo it in March.

The results said I wasn't interpersonal. I found that I answered all the question with the right answered. But I did hesitate on two videos.

The BPAD examples on the site are similer to what you will be presented with. I found the hardest part was getting used to talking to a TV screen.

Try watching Cops, Serve & Protect etc.....when a call is radioed from dispatch....rehearse what you'd say once there - then compare how Officers actually handle it.

Talk to the people the way you'd expected to be talked to. Nycon is right; responding to a screen/monitor is a little different; however, once prompted to RESPOND the characters STOP talking and simply make small nodding gestures like they're actually listening to YOU!

Don't forget to take a couple of seconds to gather your thoughts. Just like we ALL do in real life before answering someone.
