What exactly are you not ready for? The PATI, the WCT or the PREP?

To be completely honest - you are either ready or you are not. Everyone walks into the WCT, PATI, and PREP very nervous and while you are confident that you did everything you could to pass - there is always those thoughts (If I fail I need to wait another 6-months).
The Best thing I can say is that study, study, study - and when you have the opportunity to run the PREP - take your time and don't tire yourself out.

For the PREP I have 2 words.
PACE YOURSELF.
You aren't trying to break a record. Just get to 6.5. It's not as hard as you think. You can even buy a test 'Beep cd' on eBay. Do a search for Multi-Stage Fitness Test (Beep Test)
For the Prep, do not worry especially the beep test.
The beep test, as others have said is all about pacing yourself.
If you are unsure about your capabilities. Take note who the fastest guy/girl is there and try to stay just enough behind them that you are comfortable.
If you are in half descent shape you will pass no problem!
I'm not ready for PATI....90 question in 90 mins... thats just to harsh.....when i do the testings on this site i go way off time ....any suggestions on how to complete the test in 90 mins??????????????

Hey beverspeeten..... I have read most of your replies over the past month or so and i have enjoyed and benefitted from most of them. But this last reply was lame. We are all here to help each other the best that we can without breaking the confidentiality agreements that we have signed. When someone asks how to complete 90 question in 90 minutes...your reply of \" do them faster\" is not all that helpful.
Now guest, my suggestion would be to do the sections that you are strongest in ie: math, mapping, matching, etc, FIRST and leave your weakess sections for last. Now of course this is advice for when you actually go into the PATI....while you are praticing here i would suggest working on your weaknesses so that come exam time you don't totally bomb those sections. 90 questions in 90 min sounds really tough, but it is SO do-able if you are prepared. PRACTICE, practice, practice and you will be in good shape come exam time. The actual Pati is waaaay easier than the exams given on police prep...atleast thats my experience.

It was a joke - I am sorry that it was not taken that way - and offended anyone. I agree with yourself to finish the areas that you find easy - and move onto the harder areas. You know what those areas are. For me it was generally the \"maps\" (took the most time to calculate).

Its all good Bver.....i understand that it was a joke and i actually found it quite funny. I was just putting myself in the \"guests\" shoes thats all...i mean if i wrote a post asking for help i would want to get help, not a joke. That's all i meant by my post. No hard feelings i hope ;)
P.S did you do your ECI yet?

Yes - but at the same point everything that both you and I said is common sense and if the person can't figure out that you do the easier sections first and leave the harder sections for last - then what does that tell you about the \"Guest\".
ECI is next week.................
