View Full Version : GUESTS POSTING
I would like to see the moderators or administrators of this forum limit or delete the ability for \"Guests\" to post questions and or responses.
I have noticed that in past postings - Guests feel that they can say; post; whatever they want because they are hiding behind the Guest Login. Make everyone accountable for the posts and only allow registered users post to the forum - This will limit the amount of waste postings and responses.
Just my opinion.......................

bdv is absolutely correct ... if you are brave enough to say it - but a name to it
That being said ... to the \"guest\" that concurs ... who are you?
to the \"guest\" that concurs ... who are you?
See? This is exactly why we need to ban all guests!!!!

Moderators are not really needed for the \"guest\" issue.
The forum permissions just needs to be set to view all for the root admin and members only. At the moment, it is set so that all permissions are set to view, post, upload...etc...by guests which people do not need to register to start a topic or thread.
But I do agree, and I find it good that this is brought up.

I think bdv's point is so true ... about the accountability factor. There is nothing worst than posting a question and having your head blasted off by someone under the cover of \"GUEST\". Just doesn't sit right with me.
That being said, we don't have to respond to \"Guest\" questions - which may force people to register. Just a thought
