can somebody ask me a math question in this style or format

If officer johnson takes 3 hours to travel 300 km and takes 2 15 minutes after, how long will it take johnson to travel 400 km ? or how far will johnson travel in 4 hours ? something along those lines,

My advise would be to contact your local college math department, they have people there who you can pay like $20 an hour who will take you through the most common ones

If you are looking for sample word problems google infinite algebra and download the trial version of the program. You can create hundreds and hundreds of word problems. I found it very helpful. You can set it up so you get an answer sheet. The best way to learn is to figure it out yourself instead of having someone tell you how to do it. Use the answer and work backwards if you can't figure it out. If you are still struggling after that you might want to get some private tutoring.
