Hi,
I took my PIRT for the specials last month. Apparently I passed my interview with flying colours and all my written except maths. I was 4 points away from passing. I was so gutted but also very very happy. The reason being? I think I am numerical dyslexic.
I will take the exam again in about 6 months time. All my efforts will go into maths. I know I can pass.
For advice for those who have never taken the exam, take a watch. Also practice the examples in the booklet. The parts to do with the computer check and sentence formation is quiet easy, as long as you ensure you read it quickly and effectively. The longest time is taken on the story lines, to assimilate what info you have and then judge if it is true, false or unknown.
