Hello everyone I've been exploring these forums for a quite some time and I have to say that I've learned a lot. Now my problem is as follows, I will be applying for the upcoming Peel Auxiliary program and I've lived at the same residence for 12 years but recently I changed the address on my drivers license to my grandmothers for insurance purposes. Since I don't live there can this disqualify me as a potential candidate? All helpful input is appreciated.

So your asking if it's ok to commit fraud by misleading your insurance company.
Why don't you just call their recruiting department and ask before you waste their time and yours applying
Honesty is the best policy but I don't think this would surface lightly. Hummerh1 just answered your question. The best way into policing is by not committing fraud or any other offence before submitting any applications to law enforcement. But wait a minute, even if you change your address back to where you actually reside, your restricted driver's record will show your address history anyway. If it doesn't look right or even a little suspicious, you will be questioned. At this point, if you change it or not it will not be hidden.

did you try to inform the committing fraud about your concern?
