It's a continious run lasting approx 6.5 minutes. You run back and forth between 2 points in sucession with an increment of beeps that decrease in time between them as the time goes on. You should have the indurance level to be able to run about 1.5 miles in 11 mins to complete the test without much difficulty. If not I suggest you train very vigorously because the test is just that, Vigorous.
