Have you been through the Background process, or have you just heard rumours?

I understand ... it must be unnerving.
The most important thing to remember is to treat them with complete and utter respect. Remember - they are retired officers, and more than likely a Sgt, so when they are in your face - they are your superior, so treat them as such.

There will be times during your career and training that people will be in your face ... so don't take it to heart, just be humble, respectful, and professional.

I have a friend and the same happened to him - he just received a call from the backgrounder ... and he is filing a favourable report on him. Hang in there ...

i have a friend and an uncle who do backgrounds sometimes its b/c you didn't answer something right, sometimes you've done it more then once and their getting annoyed, other times its just to rattle your cage either way you have to be nice and cool cause their where you wanna be and at the end of the day their still cops and getting paid and if your rude your not !!
