This question goes out to all those who have been through the OPP background investigation (or another force). When the BGI does her/his home visit with you, what is the purpose?? Do they discuss what they found with you, or are they looking for more info/clarification. Just curious...

My backgrounder called me, conducted my background check, then came to my house. I was thinking he would review what my references had said in their interviews, but I was wrong ... He questioned me similiar to the LFI- more like an interrogation then asked my husband a few questions too. He was at my house for 2 houses.

From what I hear, the home visit is essentially the last step before they hire you. Eveyone I know that had thier home visit, got called the next day with the job offer.
