I am applying for the AFP at the moment and have passed the first Psychometric test. Has anyone else been through (or is going) this process.
I am unsure of what happens at the next stage.

Good luck with your application, not sure what the next step is for the AFP (might be the pyschical assessments in July I think if I read the website correctly, www.anythingbuteveryday.org.au) but just wanted to give you a heads up to start collating all your personal info for at least the last five years, and I would probably suggest go 10 if you can - things like bank statements, details of where you lived (rental agreements etc) as I am pretty sure you will need them when it comes to getting the appropriate clearances which in themselves are a very lenghty process. Best of luck with it all.

Thanks for your response. I have had to go through the Security clearance process in my last Career (Australian Navy). I am just trying to study for psychometric
testing but is not so easy at the moment.

Just wondering if anyone hear back from the AFP yet for the next stage which is the PCA?
I have done really well on the psychometric
testing and they said they will be in contact with me by the end of
the week with further details for next stage.

niaz420 - apologies for delayed response - I too did well in psychometric (or so I am told) the last I heard was an email from the AFP saying they were going to be conducting phased assessments. It says on their website that the PCA was going to be conducted in June but I have no idea if they took place as I wasn't invited to undertake any testing. Hears hoping we hear something soon, thoughwe were warned about the lengthy process.
