I write my exam early May and I'm wondering what to really concentrate on. I heard this exam was really hard now I'm hearing it isn't hard. Please help!

It's hard alright, so all I can say is study, you only get 35 minutes unless you write with Saskatoon and they now give you 45 minutes. However the results with Saskatoon will not be valid with any other force in the Saskatchewan. I did the test on police prep and was acing them getting around 90+ %. I found the actual test harding and needed the full 45 minutes. If I had've wrote with another force in SK I wouldn't have been able to finish. Saskatoon said the pass/fail rate was 50% before they added the extra time now it's like 40% Fail / 60% pass. Wait till you get to the polygraph, that's intense.

I write the test in the beginning of May. I am prepared for the test but what was the poly like? What type of questions and how is it setup? What exactly are they looking for. Not that I have anything to hide but I am a little nervous about it.

You name it or can think of it they ask it. It's about 3 hours in length and believe they'll know more about you than your parents/wife/partner will. Just be honest is all I can say. Good luck.

I was just wondering if anyone knows the % required to pass the Sigma? I heard they use the class average and go from there... I'm a little worried cause each new practice exam I move on to, my % always goes down again until I do the test a couple of times and it goes back up...
I also heard if you try and guess through the rest (if you are running out of time), they dock marks for wrong answers (not just the marks you lose for getting question wrong)
Any advise/suggestions welcome!

The passing mark is something like 60-70%. However the tests on Police Prep are quite different than the actually SIGMA test. Also they do not dock marks for getting a wrong answer. You only get scored for correct answers. Good luck.
