opp interview HELP

Hi All,
I have just got back from holiday to find a message on my answer phone from the OPP saying that they want to interview me this week.
I feel that I am totally unprepared as I am very new to the country/town that I would like to work in, therefore do not have any background knowledge about the place. What are they going to ask me on the day, as I am being interviewed in North Bay is it with refernce to getting reruited for that areas unit?Any help advice anyone can give me will be most appriciated.

hey there matt. where are you living? as I'm living in North Bay:)
I did my first testing here at the detachment that you'll be interviewed at.
They will be checking to see if you know the O.P.P promise. here's a link to it: http://www.gov.on.ca/opp/organization/english/promise.htm
remember certain areas of this as you will be questioned on it. they will be asking you to name the minister of finance, the premiere, etc...provincial figures and who is the commissioner of the O.P.P.
read up on the history of the O.P.P. remember facts like when the first dive unit was introduced, when females first joined the agency, etc...
know the regions by heart. example: north eastern region, north western region, central, etc...
and make sure you know your work/personal history in detail! they will expect to hear exact dates and order. this is very important.
also, when asked if you are willing to locate, respond "yes". do not deny any posting! if you do, you will be disregarded. I know personally of a guy who did this and failed.
wear your best suit and be groomed like a solider. your appearance is now vital!
do not fidget or shake your leg, play with your hands, etc... this will be looked for and will go against you.
be totaly honest, but don't volonteer any info that isn't requested.

wow, thanks for the info. I'm planning on getting an interview with the opp soon. I just have to update my prep and they said they would book me for one. this info will surely help. My understanding is they are not hiring until '05 and they even cancelled some of their previous classes. any ideas folks?
