Anyone know if there is a PREP preparation training facility in the GTA? I need to train for it and I need some motivation and a good program that will ensure I pass.
I have not heard a peep from YRP lately. What's going on? Anyone hear anything at all???
That is what I also heard. I can see your sleeping pattern getting out of wack tho... A 4 day day shift and 4 day night shld be considered.... IMO
Any idea on the day/night shift? It is 4 days - day shift, 4 days off and 4 days night shift? Or 2 day, 2 night, 4 days off, and start the cycle over?
Can anyone confirm the working hours for YRP? I recall 4 on 4 off 12 hr shifts. Is that right?
I had my interview today with the OPP and I must say it was the worst employment interview experience I've ever had. The recruiting officer had zero people skills and it felt like an interrogation...

Got a call from the OPP today to bring in my documentation and the filled in application. What should I expect? Interview? LFI?
thanks in advance.
Yup, short and sweet.
You can write as much as you want. they give you 1 page.
Are you referring to "ride alongs?", if so, York only does these with students inlisted in a Police Foundations course. They don't do it with the general public because of the overwhelming...

Had my questionnaire last evening. It went as expected. They are hiring for April, Aug and Dec for sure. We did get the "don't call us, we'll call you" line....
Same here, I even heard possibly Dec from my recruiter a few days ago. I think there is a lot of confusion and nobody REALLY knows for sure. When it comes to budget, things are ALWAYS in a state of...
This will be the pre-background questionnaire where you spill the beans on everything about you such as work and school habits, driving history, drug use, criminal record, police encounters, credit...
I received a call from YRP for a pre screening in Jan. Any ideas on what to expect?
I received a call today from YRP to attend a pre screening interview. Can anyone comment on what to expect?
I just got off the phone with someone at TPS Recruiting and I was told that as of this moment an April 2010 intake is not happening due to budget reasons. Essentially they will not be hiring for...
Agreed, if you don't recall ALL ur driving infractions you better order the complete record. If something is missed (forgotten) and it comes up in ur interview it will look bad.
Well, mine expires April 12, I plan to reschedule for Mid to late March to be safe. Thoughts?
Sounds like you missed the Nov. entrance. You will likely need to wait for the next round. I will need to re do my PREP as well as it expires in April which is dangerously close to the next...
I personally am not sure. How long have you been waiting Matt?
I don't believe that the department that provides those records are on strike though. Can someone confirm? I just sent my request with a cheque for $48 to them to get the records.
