EFI INTERVIEW

Had EFI with a Police Service in the Greater Toronto area, found questions to be mind boggling. I failed, anyone out there can give advice?

Sorry to hear that. it happened to me in May with the Metro, although they told me to call back in three months' time to re-do it again, but i found that they don't like to re-schedule a second ECI for those who failed at the first time. ( I checked with the employment unit and they said they prefered the new applicants, my file been re-activated for almost two months by now, nothing happen yet! well, don't know what to do. :cry:

There are either LFI (Local Focus Interview) or ECI (Essential Competency Interview). I don't know what's EFI?( both combined?) :?:

Yeah! that's the one that I had screw up with the Metro in May :cry:. I have checked with them after re-activated my file, is not likely to get an ECI appointment again . what 's your plan?

Well, have you heard from them that it is likely that you will not get another interview. Because many people fail the ECI interview on their first attempt and receive interview at a later date. I know a police constable, who mentioned that it took 3 years to get in. Try and try again.

Well, they didn't told me that I will not be called for interview again, but they said they will pick the new applicant first!!!. I have re-activated my file and request the ECI since August, nothing hear from them yet. I know the next in-take is Dec and they are doing the interviews now. Anyway, I hope you are right, just be patient. :? I'm planing to try for OPP, I live in Vaughan, any hints where the interview would took place should I be called for one :?:

Thanks pherse, I'll try for it, but I know they are freeze the hiring this year! Hope I will get an interview with them. Good luck to you guys
