Calling all recruiters!!!!! We need your guidance.

I have been asked this question multiple times and I thought I'd make a sticky out of it.

As Jim White (EPS) has done in the past.......

If anyone else in recruiting from any Service/Force out there is interested in helping out people in the application process please feel free to PM myself or Craig1985.

Maybe answer simple questions related to the process, and guide people in the right direction. It is 100% volunteer and your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am still answering ??? though I am officiall retired from EPS I maintain a private email for people who want to send me a ??? or two. I also put applicants through a mini interview just to give them ideas to work on. It is my way of giving bacvk to a wonderful Career and I know that all applicants anywhere must be fairly decent folks and if I can contribute just a little that is great. My private e mail is

You are better off calling your recruiter if you have a question, sending messages back and forth is inefficient.

Hi...can anyone help...I just received my letter from the OPP stating they'll contact me...the letter said I can visit the OPP's website and obtain detailed information on the pre-screening tools...I have been on the site many times, but never seen anything about pre-screening. I have an idea of what pre-screening would entail, but does anybody have any details about what it is exactly? Thanks.

Its exactly what it sounds like. They pre-screen your name through criminal checks, driving records etc. If you fail this, you will not get an interview.
