    Failed WCT......AGAIN....

Well I got my test results back yesterday. I had to rewrite the PATI and WCT and passed the PATI this time which is great but I failed the WCT which bugs me alot. I studied so hard for 2 months for both of these tests, I'm not sure where to begin with the WCT.

I know this is the only job I want so I'll grind it out for 6 months but its frustrating. I guess I'll put my dream on hold for another 6 months. I work security and am constantly writing reports, and have a university education. It's just really deflating to have failed a test for a second time.

I'm looking for a study buddy for the WCT. Feel free to contact me via email at claytonmadokoro@gmail.com

Sorry to hear the WCT didn't work out for you; however, they must have informed you of where you needed too improve!

The WCT involves alot of information needed, so wanting to improve on it requires yourself letting others know what was in need of improving!

    Question

Did the recruiter tell you where you went wrong on the report? Where are you testing?

    Respone

    Hey guys,

Yup I failed the comprehension section when I wrote the WCT on April 13th. I know they give you information to improve on the section you failed but its just so vague and limited. Basically the information they gave me is read some books to help your comprehension.

As for the WCT itself I realize the importance of information however I felt like I included all relevant information this time in sequential order along with a strong List of Facts. It's hard to discuss the WCT though due to the fact that we signed a privacy agreement.

    Keep trying

    Hi Clay

Its a bit of a stinker the WCT, I hear what you say. Keep positive and determined.

Its not so much about learning any specific situation but remembering the format to follow ie. time, date, location etc. You know the scenario, as you have done it before. Clearly label the diagram and clear any confusion from your head at this point. Planning is key. Clearly establish what has occured in your diagram.

Then after you have got it all straight proceed to do your header, time, date etc as in the examples given on this site. Then write the main body following your header format. Finally draw your conclusions/opinion. Keep it all chronological, use appropriate words and punctuation (KISS). Don't complicate it, you should unravel it so it is clear to the reader.

You know the scenario as you have done it before. Although this is helpful in one way try to forget what you have done before and relook at the incident with a fresh head and then see if you see it differently.

    Good luck, Dobby

Sounds like a pattern that ATS fails people on WCT part first time around and then passes them on 2nd or maybe that is not true?

    WCT

    Hi Friends,

I took the PATI, WCT & PREP all at the same time for the first try. I passed the PATI & PREP but failed the WCT. It was quoted where I made some error, "Comprehension," in which the full information were not encoded.
Guys, maybe you have some sample WCT scenarios with answers that I can look on, please let me know.
