Hello everyone. I would like to begin by saying I had written both PATI and the WCT test's today. "WOW".........is the first word that comes to mind. The reason is this............this site is to assist you in preparing for the "actual PATI" and by no means not to provide you question for question as on the PATI, but at least similar to what you would experience on the PATI. Well, I would like to set the record straight, and not have others who are about to write the exam feel misled.......I have studied for the last 3 weeks solid, I have written the PATI once before, and did not prepare as much as I have this round.....I studied at lunch breaks, every evening and on weekends....I kid you not, a minimum of 90 hours of study......most of my studying came from this site (as well as other sources too),I am no master math, but I am familiar with formulas/equations to pass math.....this site gave me 90% averages......the the until the PATI was in front of me......the best way I can describe how I felt was......you want to learn Budha and were taught Christian----then you go write the test and it is in Budha......I can't give you the PATI test info. etc, but I would like to warn those about to write it-FOCUS ON THE MOST DIFFICULT QUESTIONS YOU CAN FIND ON -- equations-and not the simple ones offered here, the hardest you can find-----------focus on word problem math questions-----again-----totally different style than offered on this site--------go buy a book on syllogism's------and difficult ones. I honestly wouldn't want to see anyone else study and be prepared as I tried from this site, and have the carpet ripped out from under you......I spoke with a guy who had written the GABT exams in the past. He had passed them (one in Military and one in Police) Today was his first PATI.....at the end, he looked at me and said, what the f$#@ was that........that to me my friends gives also gives an indication of what to expect...... I am frustrated due to the fact people down play the test, you study, feel confident, then you get YANKED.....I felt I did very well, and I wanted others to be a little more prepared than I was.....as for the WCT......if you know how to write case scenerios and gather facts, place them in proper order-you will do fine.....practice timing yourself, and if you have someone around you, have them (literally) yell in the room - 15 minutes left to jump start your nerves......trust me....thats all, and good luck everyone about to write the test.......
