PATI results

I have done 4 PATI tests and my scores are
60%
68%
77%
74%

Looks like I need A LOT more work.

I find it tough while working off of the computer screen.

I agree with you buddy. Its definitely tough and frustrating looking at the computer screen, scrolling down with the mouse, playing with the scrap paper to do your work etc.

when I first started I got scores as low as 42%, thats when I had mediocre math skills at best. At the end after studying with the teaching material and doing doing PATI tests on policeprep.com I was achieving over 80% on each test 88.89% on test 6 was my highest mark. I wrote the PATI just a few weeks ago and passed because of this site and the effort I put into it. STUDY STUDY STUDY.

I've done 2 more tests and got 70% on both. I'm getting peeved. I've also noticed that on the sections with pictures I can barely figure most of them out. Am I doing something wrong. I have a LCD monitor and have used several different display settings.

I am getting a lot of these wrong.

Everyone else have that problem?

fjacky I am in the same boat. My scores got lower on the pictures and observation in test 3. I thought I was maybe stupid for not being able to identify the little pin points that are different. Some of the pics and answers are so vague I found. After reading your comment now I guess I am not the only one. Also I find it hard to look off the screen. I hope someone who has done and passed the PATI can tell us how it is on the actual ATS test.

I found I couldn't do it on the computer, so I printed off the test, page by page. Then I do the test with my own stopwatch, and once my time is up, I go back to the site and enter my scores as I did them on the hard copy. That way I get it marked, and get the details on the ones that I got wrong. I'm testing in 11 days, and I am really having a problem with the test. It is rather discouraging. Any-who, try printing them off, it makes it more like the realy test anyway....

fjacky don't worry. Everything shall go smooth in 11 days time. Maybe this website is designed so that the actual PATI is easier. Go in with confidence. I'm sure you will succeed. Good luck. Keep me posted.

sorry \"just another guest\" - I was responding to fjacky's comments, and forgot to put my name on my reply. Thanks for the vote of confidence though. I'm hoping that the PATI is easier too .... I really don't want to have to do this twice!!!! Apparently the WCT is a lot harder than the PATI test - have you heard anything?

from what I hear the WCT is harder and longer than the ones given on this website. As for the PATI, i've read the previous postings but majority say if you can get approx 80% on these practice exams than the PATI is not a problem. Good luck and keep me posted.
