Done the LFI, but forgot to admit something.

    Hello All,

Here is my updates for everything.

I've admitted to my D and D 10 years ago, tried pot 8 years ago and even calling the Police on my bro for over drinking on this past New Years Eve.

Durham LFI: Passed the LFI but they decided not to move me on.

York LFI: Did better, still waiting to hear.

TPS Mentoring: Went to that last night and it was very informative. The lady gave us a lot of info and by doing so it reminded me of an incident 11 years ago when I had a collections agency after me. It was something that came out of no where but I paid the debt right away. It was for a 'non-returned' movie believe it or not. Something like a $500 late fee. I didn't even know the movie was still checked out.

When do I tell York this? I even forgot to put it in my TPS info kit.

Will York look into this before my ECI?

Will TPS look into this before my 1st interview?

    Thanks all

(Sorry for all of the info)

Well, it looks like I jumped the gun. I did a credit report on Equifax and it turns out the Collections Agency never did get to me. I'm guessing that I paid off the debt in time. I even called them to be double sure.

Boy oh Boy all of this remembering is making me paranoid.....

    Thanks All again

There was approx 30-40 people there and there was only 2 people in full suits (me and another)

Some were dressed nice, some were in jeans. To be honest, there was nobody really there to see who was in a suit. But if someone does notice I guess it would help.

I just figure it's not a big deal to throw on a suit, so why not.

I'm with you on that one ....
I have never gone to one - who conducts that course ... is it a recruitment officer, or retired officer?
And, ... is it to help you with the ECI?

I'm guessing they were recruitment officers.

And ya, they gave us info on the LFI AND ECI as they are in the same single Interview now. It is approx 2.5 hours long. Of course if they don't like the LFI stage, they can stop it right there.

Instead of all 5 compentencies, they only ask you 2.

    Which ones you ask?????????

    You never know.

Man - that sounds intense. :?
Did you do the ECI with Durham? (or do I have the wrong location)?

Do you have a date set yet? So I guess the best bet is to make sure that you have 2 examples for each competency just to be ready ... there is nothing like trying to think of an example on the spot - it is brutal!!!

    UPDATE:

I just got a call from my York recruiter this morning. He said he heard that I called and mentioned that I left a few things out during my LFI.

He told me to fax him the updates. So I guess I'll do a sit down and brainstorm, and make sure I have everything in order. Then fax it in. I hope me adding 5-6 new things won't hurt my chances.

And you know what, I'll still probably forget something

So you admit to everything? I dont know if thats required in Ottawa. Jenn will have to help me on that.

But I guess in 98 or 99 had a speeding ticket

    then an accident in 2000.

But do I need to mention if there was a credit company calling me before for a payment?

Not saying my credit is bad...i had to work hard to bring it back to par..now I have a master card, and a loan which I wanted to bring it back good, which it did...and im extremely happy for that to be honest.
