January Intake for QPS, Brisbane.

Hi guys.

Was wondering how many people here were going for the January intake and your current status + age/info + merit rating if any.


I am a 21 yo male. Recently graduated.

My current merit rating is.

A Education (Bachelor of Criminology and Justice Admin)
A Integrity (no fines/tickets).
A Cognitive (had to resit this today, I initially got a D.... yes a D. Can't believe I got an A on the resit) For those who would like to know what I studied can contact me. I purchased the police prep for QLD from this site also and some other materials.
A Beep Test (have to redo this as 6 months has almost gone by).
C Interview (Poor I know, remember you don't have to be politically correct when doing this... I was... maybe why I fell short).

Most of my testing was done in August.
The senior recruit said that I am pretty much in line with the January intake.

8.6 is all I need pretty much.

I have been told Im up for the January intake too. I was hoping for November intake but psych was slow in signing me off. I have spoke to recruitment over phone and they said I should go to committee in November, ready for January intake. I don't have merit rating though. When did you get your rating Mr Ted. I had I 9/6 for beep test. I am an old man now at age 37

Hey Rogue (from WP as well right ?) I just got my rating today after re-doing my cog.
WOW 9/6 for your beep test at 37 is EXCEPTIONALLY good. Not that old mate lol especially since you are fitter than me.
Think I need some new shoes... $30 kmart shoes doesn't seem to be cutting it...

Any ideas for good running shoes around $100? I've checked athletes foot but most are $200ish..

Hey Mat dog, where abouts are you at with your application? I would say with that merit rating Mr ted you will be in for sure. I run in a pair of saucony, I got them on special from amart all sports for $79. I think they retailed for about $130. Did you guys go to assessment day? I went and was sure I would make November intake. But nothing is for certain with recruitment
