I have signed up for O.P.P. Bound this year and was wondering what exactly happens during the 5 day session. Is there a lot of physical training?
Hopefully they pick me

HIRED 2008
chances are you won't get picked i say this b/c i applied last yr and was rejected when the recruiter came to my detachment i asked y and he said it was b/c i graduated from police foundations, once worked as a security guard and was already applying to police services... they want people who know nothing about policing put might have an interest in the profession those r the type of people they take for their bound program
hope this helps
I went last year and it was great, the first year they did it,they did it to promote women in the service, another year it was for aboriginal's,another for visual minorities and a second mini one last year Asians. It would be great for those of you who are not classed as any of the above to have such an opportunity and it is unfortunate that in our society that \"diversity recruiting\" is used, but i could also see why .It was great for me \"not having any police background at all\" now i am able to put some of the skills i learned on my resume .Will going get me hired above someone who is white? I hope not, it may get me to the interview faster, but from there your color means nothing!! Good luck all
