As anyone knows who is facing their interviews, getting your COR was just the beginning. After that chapter was closed for you you faced another mountain, the application and interview process. The interviews, IMO, are the hardest part of the process. You don't want to just pass the interviews, you want to do GREAT! You want to totally ACE them. You don't want to get a hit, you want a HOME RUN!!! IMHO, anyone who wants to totally ace their interviews should contact John Belisile for interview mentoring. He is the best of the best for interviews. He knows his stuff and he knows what each Police Service is looking for. His success rate is incredible! I would highly recommend him to anyone on the Board for Interview mentoring. His contact details are:

JOHN BELISLE
(905) 870-4665

I'm with goldenbug on having John prep you for your interview although I didn't have John tutor me I have refered more than 10 fellow applicants to his services and all were successful in passing their ECI so that's 100% success rate not bad in my opinion.

Just in case anyone is interested the services these people interviewed with were, Toronto,Hamilton ,Niagara, and Opp. So good luck to all

Is John a cop/ex cop/recruiter? I will definitely give him a call. I'm 44 and cannot afford to just get an RBI or that dreadful 1 year deferral, have to ace it.

Thanks

Richard

I do have his e-mail just give me time to dig it up and I will PM it to you.
As for telling you what's on an interview No! But when you get to the ECI with a service they tell you the questions he just helps you with YOUR examples. No one will tell you what's on an interview.

John is a former cop with Peel.

And does teach at mohawk in PF.

Sometimes he may take a while to get back to you either by phone or email. Be persistent.

You have to "harass" John to get a hold of him. Keep phoning!

I sent him an email with both my return email address and phone number.
(actually I sent it twice)

He called me tonight - I'll be meeting with him on Sunday.

FYI - he does charge for his time. It didn't deter me at all, but it might be an issue for some.

John does charge for his time but if your in this process you have already spent way more for your COR than he charges also how much is a three month wait worth to you if you fail your ECI or longer if you are doing it for the second or third time.

Well worth the money in my opinion and depending on the service if they accept results from another you just saved a ton of time and stress of another interview and moved further into the process with more than one service.

Good luck to all doing interviews.

Lynch, I don't believe there is anyone and if there were, John is still the best! Let me ask you this, if you go out for supper, do you go to the restaurant that has no cars in the parking lot or the one with the line out the door? When you want a mechanic for your car, do you want the guy who has little to no business or the guy who has to "squeeze" you in. Do you get my point, he is hard to get a hold of for a reason! Countless people want him to mentor them. Just keep phoning and "harass" him like I said. You will eventually get through.
