|
|
Hi guys i have a question for the ones that already took the real WCT test.
are you allow to mark the scenario sheet that ATS gives you, and erased later ?????????
It will make it much easier if you cant circle or under line stuff like plate numbers and key words like wet road ,heading westbound ext.
and maybe not spend so much time writing in the scrap sheet .And them rewrite it in clean.
I'm just having problems finishing in time, and I'm trying to come up with some tactic to help me save some.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated since I have my test next Saturday
Feb 20
thanks |

That is a good question; question only ATS can answer accurately.
I don't think they allow writing in/on their testing material.
Best start working on taking footnotes when reading; something you'll have to become REALLY good at if hired |

yea but what good will it be if you don't get hire in the first place because you didn't pass the test
Trust me you'll get really good at it ones you make it to the academy and they teach you there
Some one has to know because the should tell you what you can or can't do before you start the exam.
And a completely erasable, light circle around a key word in the scenario sheet wouldn't harm anyone |

Sounds like you gotta slow down a little Escobar. No need to be thinking about OPC yet!
There is enough time to complete the WCT. Let it work for you, not against you!
No need to write a ten (10) page essay, when it can be done in less than five (5).
Let other's nerves relax you when writing next round. |

Is just that is taking me a lot of time to complete the facts sheet
it takes me from 25 to 40 min, is that average or to slow
then usually it takes me minimum 30 min for the essay, and no time to do any spell check or nothing.
And thanks for replying |

You have enough time to do the test make your notes and write your report. |

Just stating you have time to complete the report. Make your list of FACTS and begin to write your report keep an eye on the time and you should be good to go.
You ever get a test and someone has put marks on the answers and most are wrong. |

Escobar...it states right at the top of the test paper not to write on it and they will also tell you at the beginning of the test.
What i found helps with time is to read it through once. Then go through it a second time listing facts as you go. From that you can pull out what is important and what is not and put into chronological order. From there it should only take you about 15-20 mins. to write the actual essay part.
Also something to think about..I don't post much here, but i do a lot of reading and haven't seen anyone (that i can recall) being negative or grumpy with someone who is looking for an answer. Sometimes the answer we look for isn't what we want to hear and we take it the wrong way. Remember, you are asking because you don't know. Good luck with your WCT. |

That is a GREAT quote "Mr.J". No one likes loaded questions: do these jeans make me look fat, type of thing! |

Sounds like some great self-medicated advice. Get a good nights sleep, and take it as it comes buddy.
Good luck!
