Hi all.
I've been reading this forum for a few months now and out has a lot of excellent information topics that are quite helpful.
I have a few questians however in regards to the 12 min wonderlic testing.
We all seem to know about the general idea of the test however I don't believe much is said on the actual format; ie is it all multiple choice questians.
Are they like the aust army exam where you shade in the circle with either a,b,c,d,e, etc
or must you figure out the questians and write in the answer.
Supposedly the a true wonderlic test is easy to hard however some of the tests I have done online seem a bit jumbled up and don't give a true account of the testing.
Also if you fail the wonderlic test I was under the impression that you couldn't resit the exam for 12 months is this the case as it appears persons on here get a second chance.
Cheers guys |

I have been doing some research online and it appears that the wonderlic test is all multiple choice. I dont know how true this is but it may have some truth to it as a way of marking the exam is by shading in the correct area ie a,b,c,d,e and the marker will than place the answer sheet over the test paper and mark the correct ones that should have the shaded area visible.
Hope that makes sence.
I have spoken with a good source who has stated the wonderlic test is critical and its important to do well.
Damned if im ging to let 12 min stand between me and a new career. |

| From what I can remember it is 50 questions. It is nearly identical to Army testing, only a lot shorter. Same thing, shade a,b,c,d,e and some questions need blanks for answers e.g where you physically write an answer. I wouldn't say it was easy, though I wouldn't say it was extremely hard either. If you have an average intelligence and brush up on basic maths i.e number lines, basic addition, subtraction, divide, angles, etc you should be fine. You cant prepare for this test other than brushing up on basic mathematical skills. |

the questions get harder the further you get. Its my understanding you are not meant to finish the 50 questions, i think i got 32ish done?
If you meet the minimum educational requirements for the police then you shouldnt have too much of a drama getting through them. But dont fret if you only get half done, aim to get as many right as possible, not as many DONE as possible. _________________ The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it." Hello People.
I have been in contact with the Wonderlic people from the USA and they have been kind enough to give me a practice exam, I scored 24 which she said wasnt too bad. She also said that there are a total of five different exams. |

All this info is true, multiple choice, and have to write some answers in blank spots....if you know how to find the average, perimeter and area of objects you will be fine.
If you can answer 50 it is excellent but not essential, I answered 47...just dont panic and remember to spend only about 15 secs per questions. Look at a book Preparing for career selection tests : numeracy and general ability / Vera Joosten.
