Get all your certification copies and originals (OSSD Diploma for sure) in order as well as personal documents such as SIN, driver's license, birth certificate, etc. as noted on the individual police service websites.

Know your work history well and ensure all dates flow throughout the application. Have an up to date resume. Have reference letters readily available. Get a restricted driver's abstract (over 5 years if applicable) and criminal record check.

The title of your post, and the content seem to be mutually exclusive Cool

However, what Froz said, plus its also a good time to get your high school transcripts together as well. Compiling a list of volunteer activities could be a good idea, as well as, any certifications or professional development you may have completed.

good luck

One more thing, on the topic of transcripts JayL brought up. If you have any College or University programs that were not completed you may want to round up those as well.

To answer your question, JayL mentioned to get your highschool transcripts and on that note you will need to get your College and/or University transcripts whether you graduated or have not completed. The reason I tell you this is becuase on my applications I put down my incompleted courses and during one of my interviews, I was asked to show the incompleted transcripts which I didn't have at the time. I have since obtained my transcripts.
